Kodak: Farewell to the People’s Camera
On January 19, 2012, Eastman Kodak announced it had filed for bankruptcy protection as the 131-year-old film and camera-making innovator struggled to adapt in a world where digital photography rules over … well, everything. As part of its filing, Kodak will sell a portfolio of more than one thousand imaging patents to raise cash.
